VENDOR RETAIL INSTALLATIONS MALL OF THE EMIRATES, DUBAI
As part of the Design Review Team, Debra was responsible for reviewing the designs of 105 retail units (out of a total of 430 units) during the development and construction of Mall of the Emirates in Dubai—at the time, the largest shopping mall outside the US. She worked with a diverse range of tenants, from major international global brands to local Middle Eastern retailers. Additionally, Debra played a key role in developing the Vendor Design Manual, outlining design guidelines, project timelines, and compliance requirements. She also provided technical expertise on material specifications and electrical requirements, ensuring vendors met the mall’s standards.
